CRIBBS, MRS. RUTH ANN (GAUTHIER) Widow of Richard Cribbs Muskegon Mrs. Ruth Ann Cribbs, age 52, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013. She was born in Muskegon on January 31, 1961 to the late Joseph and Ruth (Ferris) Gauthier. Ruth Ann graduated from Reeths-Puffer High School in 1979 and married Richard Cribbs on July 20, 1985. She was widowed early in her marriage when her husband passed away on December 2, 1991 and was left to raise her children by herself. Ruth Ann worked endlessly for her family; that was her world. She was a great mom, grandmother, sister and friend. She will always be remembered for her taco salad and homemade fudge that she made for family and friends at Christmas. Ruth Ann enjoyed watching her game shows and spending time with her grandsons. She will be greatly missed. Ruth Ann is survived by her children, Heather (Dennis) Paulsen, Everett (Julie Jones) Cribbs, and Anthony Lock all of Muskegon; two grandchildren, Richard Paulsen and Ethan Jones and a future grandson on the way; siblings, Doris "Dee" Gauthier and Dean Crane, of Muskegon, Sharron (David Joe) Hoffman, of Twin Lake, Karen (David) Hogan, of Holton, Marsha (John) Ake, of Muskegon, Ronald Kolbe, of Holton, Kenneth (Kathy) Kolbe, of Riverton, Wyoming, Michael (Rose) Kolbe of North Muskegon, Janice Kolbe, of Aurora, Colorado, Debra Puckett, of Ravenna, Gilbert (Debra) Gauthier, of Ravenna, and Joseph (Debbie) Gauthier, of Ravenna; many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and her husband, Ruth Ann was also preceded in death by her grandson, Eric at nine months of age.

A Memorial Service for Ruth Ann will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the Friendship Wesleyan Church, 1761 N. Roberts Road, North Muskegon, with Pastor Chad Fessenden officiating. Interment in Egelston Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. -
